Choose calcium-rich foods, but don’t forget to include Vitamin D in your diet as well. Your body needs a certain amount of it to absorb calcium properly. Foods that are high in Vitamin D are fatty fish like tuna, orange juice, and milk.
Venture Past the Dairy Aisle
Many of the same non-dairy foods that contain Vitamin D also contain calcium. Some to consider are calcium-fortified cereals, bread, and soy milk, as well as leafy greens like kale and turnip greens.
